ESL Pro League is going into its 14th season, which will take place August 16th through September 12th. This tournament will distribute $750,000 and will have two phases: Group Stage & Playoffs. Group Stage is divided into four groups, each with six teams, and they will compete in a Round-Robin format.
All matches will be best of three and will take place at three different times:

The top team in each group will advance into the quarterfinals, and the second and third teams will advance to the round of 12. The playoffs will consist of a single-elimination bracket. All of these matches will be BO3, except the Grand Final, which will be a BO5. Here are our rankings of the teams participating in the event.

#4 Heroic
Heroic is starting our rankings because it is the champion of ESL Pro League Season 13. The team defeated Gambit Esports 3-2 in an intense grand final. The third match of the series featured 54 rounds. The players Ismail “refrezh” Ali and Rasmus “sjuush” Beck, who joined the team on february 2021, really “refreshed” the team. The same Heroic roster will attempt to become the two-time champion. Heroic is in the top four of the ESL World Ranking, which is why it is at the top of the list.

#3 G2 Esports
G2 Esports has been increasing their level as a team, and they surprised everyone by getting second place in the last Intel Extreme Masters XVl – Cologne, where they were defeated by Natus Vincere in an incredible match. G2 Esports is in the top three of the ESL World Ranking. The roster has consisted of AmaNek, his Captain nexa, and huNter since 2019.
The team reinstated Jackz to its active roster, and Niko joined the team in October 2020. We included G2 Esports in this list because of its last international performance and how it is going to compete with the same roster.
#2 Gambit Esports
Gambit Esports is set in group B which probably will not be a problem to succeed. Gambit Esports is in the top two of the ESL World Ranking. The roster is made up of nafany, sh1ro, interz, Ax1le and Hobbit. The team has been competing since October, and they have won four tournaments and one sub championship.
We believe Gambit has a good chance to repeat the championship against Natus Vincere like they did in the last Blast Premier: Springs Finals 2021.
Their previous success as a team makes them an excellent choice to follow in the tournament.
#1 Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere’s recent win at Intel Extreme Masters XVl – Cologne and maintaining the top position on the ESL World Ranking makes Natus Vincere the favorite in every tournament that they play. Also, they have Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who is considered one of the best Awpers in the world. He dominated in his last participations with NaVi.
Natus Vincere is on a seven game-win streak that it wants to continue in the ESL Pro League. But first, the team has to win Group C, where they have to play against FaZe Clan. It will be the most attractive match of the group.
