It is almost the end of the regular season in one of the most important esports tournaments of the North American scene, LCS. Cloud9, Team Liquid, and 100 Thieves are the guaranteed playoff participants, and here is the other news regarding the LCS 2022 Spring Week 7.
LCS 2022 Spring Week 7 Day 1
Results:
- Immortals | 0 – 1 | 100 Thieves
- Team Liquid | 1 – 0 | Counter Logic Gaming
- TSM | 1 – 0 | Cloud9
- Evil Geniuses | 1 – 0 | Dignitas
- Golden Guardians | 1 – 0 | FlyQuest
What happened:
In the opening game of the LCS 202 Spring Split Week 7, 100 Thieves took down Immortals to continue its winning streak. The latest champion has guaranteed itself a spot in the playoffs before the end of the regular season. Immortals failed to impress its fans during this split as the team faced its sixth loss in a row. Secondly, the closest followed of Cloud9, Team Liquid faced Counter Logic Gaming. CLG had an ascending graphic for the past couple of weeks but TL’s supremacy was too much for CLG to handle. Surprisingly, TSM took down Cloud to end its losing streak. Cloud9 faced a hard loss after many games of winning.
Evil Geniuses’ test against Dignitas was very important as these two teams battle each other for a spot in the playoffs. EG was the dominant side at the end of the day as the team managed to demolish its opponent. Dignitas made a disappointing start to the week. Lastly, FlyQuest’s poor performance in the last weeks has continued against Golden Guardians. One of the closest teams to the playoff bracket, GG secured a very important win before the end of the regular season.

LCS 2022 Spring Week 7 Day 2
Results:
- Evil Geniuses | 0 – 1 | 100 Thieves
- Golden Guardians | 1 – 0 | Dignitas
- Team Liquid | 0 – 1 | FlyQuest
- Counter Logic Gaming | 0 – 1 | Cloud9
- Immortals | 0 – 1 | TSM
What happened:
Evil Geniuses failed to keep its good performance against the latest champion, 100 Thieves. 100T improved its winning streak to five games and got closer to the second spot. Golden Guardians’ surprising performance kept growing as they managed to take down Dignitas in a very important competition. GG managed to tie its win and loss statistics with Dignitas before last week. Unexpectedly, FlyQuest stopped its poor form and pulled out a miracle win over Team Liquid. This win kept FLY ahead of the fifth-placed teams. On the other side, Team Liquid failed to protect the gap between 100 Thieves. We may see them change spots after the last week.
Despite facing a loss against TSM on the first day of LCS 2022 Spring Week 7, Cloud9 managed to bounce back with an easy win over Counter Logic Gaming. CLG’s playoff hopes were also damaged after getting its second loss in a row as the gap is now bigger. Lastly, TSM won another game, this time against Immortals. Luckily, it is still mathematically possible for TSM to compete in the playoffs stage but logically, it is almost impossible. The well-known team had to get more wins in the first weeks of LCS action.
The last week of this split’s LCS action will host the incredible competition as most of the esports teams are very close to each other in the standings. Stay tuned to JustGamers for more LCS coverage!
