Golden Guardians surprised many fans with an important win over Team Liquid that strengthened their playoff hopes. This year’s biggest upset, TSM, faced another loss against 100 Thieves and stayed at the very bottom of the standings. On the other hand, 100 Thieves’ leadership claims have gotten stronger.
Immortals’ playoff hopes are still alive as they grabbed an important win over Counter Logic Gaming on the first day. FlyQuest lost two games in a row, against Evil Geniuses and Immortals respectively. FLY made a strong start to the season but the team looked lost this split. With the wins they took, Immortals and Evil Geniuses’ playoff race continued.
