2021 LEC Summer Split Overview
The 2021 Mid-Season Invitational that is finally over wasn’t the only important top esports tournament. We also have the LCK, LCS, and LEC Summer Splits around the corner.
It will start with a Double-Round Robin Group Stage. Each team will play 18 Best-of-One matches and pick up championship points based on their Spring Playoffs and Summer Season performances. These determine whether participants get seeded to Playoffs or not.
For example, those who land between the first and sixth spots will move to the Playoffs. But those who finish in seventh to tenth place will lose all of their points.
The Playoffs will consist of Double Elimination, Best-of-Five matches. The top three in the leaderboard will automatically qualify for World Championship 2021. These are the ten most influential teams in Europe participating in the LEC:
- MAD Lions
- Rogue
- G2 Esports (HiresSng “Nelson” Yi-Wei as new strategic coach)
- Fnatic (Acquires Adam as new top laner and confirms Bwipo is new jungler)
- Schalke 04 (there are rumors about looking to sell its spot)
- Excel Esports (Signs “nukeduck”, acquires “denyk” Haramach as new mid laner, support)
- SK Gaming (Treatz moving to jungle, Jesiz returns to support; TynX benched)
- Misfits Gaming (Releases Enatron, promotes Candyfloss, hires H1IVA)
- Vitality (Acquires SLT, Selfmade, and LIDER)
- Astralis
€200,000 EUR (around ($244,650) are spread among these teams.
As always, you can hook on the broadcast through the LEC’s official Twitch channel and follow the last updates posted on their official Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.

What we love the most about lol betting is the high reward obtained after supporting winning teams. If you’re looking for some predictions, then keep reading further down:
#1 – MAD Lions: After winning the 2021 LEC Spring Split, the Spanish team seems more prepared than ever before. They got a 69% win rate (9 wins vs. 4 losses) which tells us they’ll be among the top spots this time as well, especially if they play on the “Red” side.
#2 – G2 Esports: The team of ??, ??, ?? won the Summer Split last year with a remarkable 65% win rate (11 wins and 6 losses). While they barely got a 38% win rate during the Spring Split held several weeks ago, we truly believe they can come back and place on top of Fnatic.
#3 – Rogue: While not dramatic, they jumped from 45% to 53% win rate since last year’s LEC Summer Playoffs. Their Gold and CS differential per minute has also increased a lot.
We believe these are the top three teams with the biggest odds of jumping to the LEC Summer Split Playoffs and winning.
